Rowan Knitting Workshop Weekend September 6th & 7th 2008
Rowan’s 30th Anniversary Knitting Weekend workshop:
Saturday 6th September - Sunday 7th September
In conjunction with the exhibition we will be hosting a special anniversary weekend workshop at the North Light Gallery.
Participants will be encouraged to have a go at all the techniques seen in iconic designs of the past, these can then be made up into either a bag or wall hanging to take home as a keepsake of their weekend.
In addition to the normal workshop itinerary there will be a drinks reception and private view of the exhibition, a guided walk through the Yorkshire countryside surrounding the Rowan Mill and a chance to meet with knitwear designers who will be on hand over the weekend to chat and sign publications.
Consequently, the gallery will be open to the public on Friday 5th September, but closed on Saturday 6th September and Sunday 7th September. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
