Donations
The North Light Gallery relies very heavily on the support of individuals, companies, trusts and foundations and we ask you to consider providing financial support to help us with our activities. There are many ways you can support us such as:
- Volunteering your time.
- Sponsoring an exhibition.
- Planned giving for example via Gift Aid.
Gift Aid is a simple scheme for UK taxpayers which allows North Light Gallery to reclaim tax on a gift of any amount, increasing its value to the Gallery by almost a third, at no extra cost to the taxpayer. - Donations - Please make all cheques out to “The William Brooke Benevolent Fund”.
- Corporate involvement.
- Trust and Foundation Opportunities.
- Becoming a Patron (gifts of over £10,000)
- Giving a work of Art or Textile Heritage item to the collection.
The Gallery is not currently supported by either The Arts Council, Kirklees Metropolitan Council or The National Lottery Fund.
The Gallery is run and operated by The William Brooke Benevolent Fund whose Registered Charity Number is 209138.
Case Study
The Gallery required a complete overhaul of its North Light glazing which needed new specialised UV proof double glazed glass. The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation gave a generous gift towards this vital work.
If you would like further details of the partnership opportunities please speak to a member of the gallery team on 01484 340003.
